"Megamix" | #14 | ----- | ----- | ----- |
"Wow (와)" (FULL VERSION) | #15 | ----- | Lee Yongmin (POSSIBLY/SPECULATED) | ----- |
The full version of "Wow" was not included on the first album, but it got leaked and posted on YouTube so I thought I'd add it.
At 11:33 seconds in the Megamix, you can hear a partial amount of NRG's unreleased song, "Wow (와)". It was initially going to be the title track, but was taken out due to a plagarism controversy with R.ef's "Who Are You". Funny enough, R.ef's "Who Are You" faced accusations of copying Karen's "Nothing's Gonna Take My Love From You", which makes this a three-way plagarism. Due to R.ef's "Who Are You" being composed by Lee Yongmin, people suspect that Lee Yongmin also made "Wow" and self-plagarized.
The intros of many of NRG's 1st album songs are suspected of unauthorized sampling from foreign Eurobeat songs. For example, the intro of "I Can Do It" seems to clearly combine the melodies of Ken Hunter's "Taxi Driver" and Valentina's "Wake Up Honey". Despite this, the original artists weren't credited anywhere.
This album sold 400,000 copies.
"Island" is the only song NRG ever put in their album as a duet (sang by Sungjin and Myunghoon) besides the song "Present" (also sang by Sungjin and Myunghoon) in the 7th album.

Like the 1st album, several songs in the 2nd album faced controversies of unauthorized sampling/plagarism in its intros, including the intro of "Making Love" being a combination of "Yellow Magic" by Go Go Girls and "Loving Like a Fire" by Virginelle. In addition, the intro of b-side "Hey Ya" is the same as Niko's "Night of Fire". In addition, Lee Yongmin, who had been suepected in plagarism controversies already in NRG's 1st album, was the maker of NRG's "Hey Ya". Does the guy ever learn?
Flight No.817 was performed live and even sang on a radio show, despite not really being a follow-up or promoted song. It was also performed at NRG's 2000 concert.
The remix version of Breakfast at Tiffany's was promoted months before the Race album ever came out.
This album sold 242,562 copies.

Weirdly, the "Parting" instrumental's audio is the "Silent Night Holy Night" instrumental. Did something break...? It's like that on Spotify too... :/
This is NRG's second Christmas album.
Despite this song not having a title song, the album is named after one of its own tracks: "Kiss in Christmas".
"Parting" was performed live a few times: At NRG's 2000 fanmeeting, and Mnet Hotline School. Hwansung also sang a snippet of it on a broadcast. Additionally, it was the song played on Hwansung's VCR during NRG's 2000 concert.
This album sold 30,000 copies.

MY FAVORITE NRG ALBUM EVER AAAAAAAAAAA
For the album's title track, the members were deciding between "Salvation" and "Face". "Face" was ultimately selected.
This is the first lineup change NRG experienced. The members for this album were Moon Sunghoon (now main rapper and leader), Kim Hwansung (now main vocalist), and Noh Yoomin (now lead dancer and sub vocal). Sungjin and Myunghoon departed from the group on their own accord.
"Dark Angel" and "Salvation" are Myunghoon's debut compositions, and this album is the first time an NRG member was actively involved in the creation of their music.
NRG performed a short portion of "Salvation" during their Comeback Special for Inkigayo.
"Leave my Heart" was Hwansung's favorite 3rd album song.
"Face" was included as a song on DDR 3 Mix ver Korea in February 2000.
"Handel" was performed live at a fansign in April/May 2000 and NRG's very first concert in 2000. Also, the instrumental is sampled from Bach's "Ich steh mit einem Fuß im Grabe BWV 156". Why did they call it "Handel" then...? Well, I guess it sounds better than the song being called "Bach"...
This album sold 46,856 copies, a drastic decrease from their previous two albums.

This is NRG's first album as 4.
"Goodbye my Friend" and "Letter" were performed live a few times. "Goodbye my Friend" was performed at the 2001 Dream Concert (but not broadcast), and "Letter" was performed at MBC Starry Night. Finally, both were performed at NRG's 2001 concert.

Just as a tree wishes to remain still but the wind keeps blowing, a person may wish to serve and honor their parents, but time/fate prevents them from doing so.
The "Roly Park" MV was shot in Australia.
